The Z97-A/USB 3.1 is newest iteration of the Z97 series motherboards. Included is the USB 3.1 high speed connectivity, a welcoming update for users who preferred the older design but desire latest transfer speeds. The Z97 series motherboards were known for their elegant and modern designs. The modernism can be reflected on the gold color of the CPU and Platform Controller Hub (PCH) heatsinks. The teal color on the connectors adds another touch to the high-end feel, reminiscent of the Tiffany Blue color.
