Simple, effective, easy to travel with

Most gaming smartphone accessories on the market is too bulky and cumbersome to travel with, and can even interfere when making phone calls or texting messages. Thus, they are usually only being used at home solely for gaming. The idea is to create an accessory design that is easier to carry with, and still increases grip surface with a simpler strut design that also incorporates a small gamepad for increase control.
Research and Concept Development

The accessory supports different type of holding position, and can be used with or without the gamepad. Even without using the gamepad, the strut design is sufficient enough to be grab on to and increases grip surface. The strut can be use folded up or down, depending on the users’ preferences. The accessory will also function as a phone stand if needed.
